As a Data Analyst at RSM, you will play a crucial role in the Talent Analytics team within the Talent Technology Center of Excellence. Your primary responsibilities will involve working with HR systems and database tools to clean and prepare historical data for a system-agnostic data store. Additionally, you will assist in designing and implementing efficient data models to support various applications and analytics. You will have the opportunity to contribute to rebuilding a data store from the ground up, enabling analysis to achieve business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage HR systems and database tools to clean and prepare historical data for a system-agnostic data store. - Assist in designing and implementing efficient data models to support various applications and analytics. - Design, estimate, and execute analysis plans based on requirements gathered from key stakeholders. - Collaborate to build and optimize ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Develop business and enterprise architecture strategy to align technology solutions with business goals. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or similar field. - Minimum 3 years of experience using data transformation tools like Alteryx and SQL for querying large datasets. - Experience in solutioning/maintaining ETL pipelines. - Preferred experience in using RStudio or Python for automation, statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining. - Strong problem-solving skills to identify data issues and implement corrections in the transformation process. - Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies and data modeling tools. - Excellent communication, relationship skills, and ability to work well in a team. - Understanding of core Human Resources functions and related data preferred. - Experience in HR-related systems like Workday, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, VNDLY, ServiceNow.
