IT Software Asset Management Sr. 1

As the IT Software Asset Management Sr. 1 at RSM, your role involves handling the day-to-day platform operations of RSM's SAMPro framework. You will be responsible for creating integrations, conducting quality assurance reviews, and configuring SAMPro features. Effective communication and collaboration with other analysts, developers, and IT stakeholders are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will provide support to other Asset Management staff within ServiceNow, including hardware and cloud management. Key Responsibilities: - Create integrations, focusing on SaaS tools for both IT and LOB software, which includes pre-built integrations and customized APIs. - Seek process improvement opportunities with an emphasis on automation for the SAM and VM teams. Collaborate within and outside IT for solutions and drive change to accelerate SAMPro adoption. - Perform quality assurance reviews of SAMPro, HAM, and other ServiceNow-related stories. May act as an IT Vendor Manager for ServiceNow and work with third-party vendors for integrations. - Act as a developer for moderate HAM or ITAM workloads as needed. - Fulfill other duties as assigned by the organization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related business concentration is preferred. - ServiceNow CSA certification is preferred; additional developer certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist in SAMITAM are considered. - Good understanding of software licensing and compliance is required. - Excellent Microsoft Office skills are necessary. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of professionalism. - 6-8 years of experience with SAMPro is required. - Experience with QA is preferred. - IT Asset Management or IT Procurement experience is helpful. - Any experience with ITAM or HAM in addition to SAM is preferred. - Related experience in a large-scale technology environment is required.
