Supervisor, Data Engineering

Role Overview: As a Data Engineering Supervisor at RSM, you will be a skilled professional with experience in data engineering, modeling, and analytics, working within a team setting to design, deploy, and support data and analytics solutions. You will have the opportunity to take on a supervisory role in a growing team while collaborating with internal and external teams to support clients in ERP migrations and related projects. Your role will involve defining development plans, requirements, and solution architectures for data pipelines, lakes, warehouses, analytics, and governance use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal teams to support clients throughout ERP migrations and related projects. - Work closely with external client business, data, technical, project management, and partner teams to build relationships, deliver projects, and explore new solutions. - Document project scope, create estimates, and form timelines based on client conversations and surveys. - Manage engagement financials and project plans to ensure on-budget and on-time delivery. - Assist in client assessments of current state people, process, technology, and data through surveys, interviews, workshops, and data profiling. - Define development plans, requirements, and solution architectures for data pipelines, lakes, warehouses, analytics, and governance use cases. - Develop and demonstrate technical solutions using technologies such as T-SQL, Python, AWS, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Tableau, and others. - Complete certifications in various frameworks, technologies, and methodologies. - Triage and resolve bugs/defects, manage Quality Assurance (QA) and test plans. - Support practice management efforts, participate in future hiring, performance management, and development plans for new team members. - Provide thought leadership and author digital content such as how-to articles, white papers, and other materials for the company website or industry journals.
