Junior Data Analyst

As a Junior Data Analyst at Wildfox Business Advocacy, your role is crucial in delivering data-driven insights to empower businesses in making informed decisions. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, managing data, developing dashboards, analyzing data using Excel, preparing presentations, collaborating with teams, and documenting processes. Additionally, occasional travel to client locations is required for in-person meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Engage directly with clients to gather and understand their reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources with accuracy and consistency. - Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights. - Employ advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros for data analysis and presentation. - Create compelling presentations using PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. - Work closely with internal teams to support reporting needs and strategic initiatives. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, data sources, and client requirements. - Be willing to travel occasionally to client locations for in-person meetings and discussions. Required Skills: - Advanced skills in SQL, Power BI (including DAX and data modeling), and Excel. - Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. - 0 to 1 year of experience in data analysis or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: - Education in B.Tech (Completed or Pursuing), BCA, or B.Sc (Computer Science). - Experience in gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders. - Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles. - Strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
