Senior Cloud Engineer I

Role Overview: As a Senior Cloud Engineer I at Russell Investments, Mumbai, you will be a motivated coder/hacker/engineer dedicated to solving problems with elegant and maintainable automated solutions. Your role will involve collaborating across the Global Technology organization to design and implement the application stack in Azure, providing expertise on migrating workloads, creating IaC CI/CD pipelines, and working with DevOps and Architecture teams to create a re-usable model for cloud deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate across the Global Technology organization to design and implement the application stack in Azure. - Provide expertise on migrating existing workloads using modern technologies like containerization and Kubernetes. - Create IaC CI/CD pipelines for public and private cloud platforms using tools like TerraForm and Ansible. - Work with DevOps and Architecture teams to create a re-usable model for cloud deployments. - Offer expertise and recommendations to all technology teams on cloud technology. - Create and maintain quality documentation. Qualifications Required: - Expert level knowledge of Azure technology and experience supporting cloud migrations. - Advanced understanding of Microsoft SQL servers and queries. - Experience with deploying .NET/C# and Python containers in cloud environments. - Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes. - Experience with core technologies such as Splunk, GitLab, Octopus, Kubernetes, Docker, Nagios, AppDynamics, Ansible, RabbitMQ, and Redis. - 15 years of combined experience in DevOps and Cloud. - Experience using and supporting CI/CD systems. - Good understanding of object-oriented development. - Experience in working with Microservice architectures and RESTful APIs.
