Technical Support Engineer

As a Workplace Technology Engineer at Russell Investments Mumbai, you will be responsible for providing client-facing infrastructure support. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating and coordinating with global team members, Enterprise Service Desk, Managed Services Provider, and outside technology vendors to ensure efficient operation of the company's Workplace Technology environment. - Providing hands-on support for desk-side related issues. - Setting up new hardware and software, and training new users as needed. - Offering Tier 2 troubleshooting for all standard and enterprise-approved applications. - Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations, related hardware, and software on Windows and MAC OS. - Ensuring that all end-user equipment such as desktops, network ports, printers, TV screens, and AV equipment are in proper order. - Participating in other IT projects and tasks as required. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of Desktop Support experience with a strong background in a Windows environment. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and build relationships with end users and business leaders. - Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and flexibility. - Experience working with cross-functional IT groups and promoting open communication and teamwork. - Knowledge of Systems Center/SCCM (2012/2019) and MS Office/O365. - Familiarity with Windows OS Registry, imaging tools and software. - Completion or working towards ITIL v3 foundation certification. - Desired Certifications: A+, MCDST, Dell Online Search Dispatch (DOSD). - Experience with Windows, iOS, and Android. - Strong troubleshooting skills and superior analytical abilities supporting users in a Windows environment on multiple client computing platforms. - Excellent customer service and effective communication skills with associates at all levels.
