About the role
Responsibilities Design and develop automotive plastic trim components utilizing CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX. Create and modify Class-A, Class-B & Class-C surfaces. Develop 3D models and engineering features for plastic components. Ensure tooling feasibility, conduct draft analysis, and ensure manufacturability. Work closely with cross-functional teams from product development through to production release. Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in Automotive Plastic Trim Design is required. Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX. Expertise in Class-A, Class-B & Class-C Surface Development. Good understanding of automotive plastic component design. Hands-on experience in Surface Modelling and Part Design. Knowledge of Injection Moulding processes and Tooling Concepts. Experience in Draft Analysis, Tooling Feasibility, and Manufacturing Considerations. Experience in the complete product development lifecycle will be considered an added advantage. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
