As a Data Analyst at S&P Global Market Intelligence, your role involves gathering, validating, and processing large datasets related to revenue-sharing transactions with third-party vendors. Your primary responsibilities include: - Data Collection and Processing: - Gather, validate, and process large datasets related to revenue-sharing transactions with third-party vendors - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data to provide a reliable foundation for reporting - Reporting and Visualization: - Develop and maintain regular reports detailing revenue share performance and trends - Utilize data visualization tools to create insightful dashboards for internal and external stakeholders - Revenue Share Analysis: - Analyze revenue share agreements to determine applicable terms and conditions - Calculate and report revenue share allocations based on established agreements and financial metrics - Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including finance, sales, legal, and vendor management to gather insights and align reporting with business objectives - Collaborate with external partners to maintain operational relationships and troubleshoot issues related to Ratings access - Quality Assurance: - Implement quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of revenue share reports - Address discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve data-related issues promptly - Continuous Improvement: - Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in data management and revenue share reporting - Propose and implement improvements to reporting processes for increased efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field - Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to extract meaningful insights - Expert familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Excel, complex formulas, and pivot tables - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments Additionally, the ability to review and understand Legal contracts, experience in data analysis and reporting, familiarity with Salesforce, and third-party vendor relationships are preferred qualifications.
