Job Title: IT Infrastructure Application Engineer Location: Bengaluru.Type: ContractJob Description:We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Application Engineer to join our team. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and supporting engineering teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD tools and IT infrastructure support, particularly within semiconductor design.Key Responsibilities:Install and configure license servers, process kit installations, CAD tool setups (such as Cadence, Synopsys), and ensure proper testing.Write shell scripts to ensure new setups/environments are compatible with client databases.Support the configuration of CAD tools by utilizing modules and invokes for seamless integration, ensuring the proper functioning of design tools.Specific Tools and Technologies:Hands-on experience with Siemens EDA, Keysight, and other industry-standard simulation tools.Assist with the installation of Process Design Kits (PDKs) from foundries, ensuring smooth integration with CAD tools.Support the installation of Computer-Aided Verification (CVA) software and establish connectivity for simulation tasks (e.g., EDX).Provide ongoing maintenance and configuration of Linux servers, with a focus on optimizing hardware usage (e.g., VMware, memory management).Implement computing solutions for simulations in Cadence and manage large data volumes (estimated at 500TB).Key Requirements:Over all 7Years of experience required Proven experience with CAD tools like Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA, and Keysight.Strong experience in shell scripting and automation for tool/environment setup.Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including server, storage, and network configuration.Knowledge of desktop virtualization (OpenText Exceed TurboX) for remote access.Familiarity with the installation and maintenance of PDKs and integration into the design flow.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support engineering teams in a dynamic environment.Should have experience in the semiconductor industry.
