About the role
S&U MEK Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its advanced composites division and is looking for an experienced engineer to help establish one of India's emerging composite manufacturing facilities for aerospace and defence applications. This is not a routine production role. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience with high-temperature processing and can contribute to process development, commissioning, production, and team mentoring. Preferred Experience Carbon-Carbon (C/C) composite manufacturingVacuum induction furnaces or high-temperature vacuum furnacesPitch impregnation and carbon composite processingVacuum systems, high-temperature graphite heating systems, inert gas handlingAerospace, Defence, Research or Advanced Materials industriesKey Responsibilities Support commissioning and operation of high-temperature vacuum furnaces.Develop, optimize and validate thermal processing recipes.Lead and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.Train and mentor technicians and operators.Develop SOPs, process documentation and manufacturing records.Work closely with design, machining and quality teams to establish robust production processes.Preferred Background Hands-on experience in Carbon-Carbon (C/C) composites manufacturing or high-temperature vacuum furnace operations is must . Advanced materials companies, carbon composite manufacturers, vacuum furnace manufacturers, or similar high-temperature processing industries will be an advantage.
