Controls Engineer

Job Summary (List Format) for Controls Engineer:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for small modular reactors (SMR), such as BWRX-300.

• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Utilize software tools for system design, testing, and validation of control systems.

• Manage and optimize control system communications in nuclear power plant environments.

• Integrate and interface with communication protocols and systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLC).

• Develop, prototype, and finalize system requirements and design documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and troubleshooting.

• Work with platforms and architectures such as NUMAC, H31, EGD systems, and Plant UDH.

• Provide technical support and expertise throughout the control system lifecycle.

• Stay updated on advancements in nuclear control system technologies and standards.
