Urgent Requirement for the position of Sr. Data Scientist - Python/R/Hadoop/Spark/ Predictive models/ML/Power BI/Tableau - Dallas,TX(Hybrid/Onsite).

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• • Weeks 1-2: Collaborate with the CEO and team to identify gaps in sales and strategic decision-making.

• • Weeks 3-4: Prioritize identified gaps by assessing data availability, expected business impact, and stakeholder alignment.

• • Months 2-6: Develop and deliver prioritized data solutions, including data visualizations and reports to support business narratives.

• Create data triggers to alert the sales team based on key business events (e.g., project wins).

• Implement machine learning models to enhance efficiency and decision

• -making processes.

• Continuously iterate on solutions based on business feedback and evolving needs.

Requirements

• • At least 5-7 years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist with a proven track record of delivering impactful data science solutions.

• • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

• • Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred).

• • Ability to conduct light data engineering tasks (data integration, cleansing, and preparation).

• • Expertise in developing and implementing predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis.

• • Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling with data.

• • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with executives.

• • Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to drive business improvement and outcomes.

• • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Candidates from the Dallas-Fort Worth area are preferred, as occasional onsite meetings may be required.

• •A master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• •Experience with sales data analytics and creating operational data triggers is a plus.

• •Strong business communication skills, able to navigate fast-paced environments.
