Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer Steel Structures / PEB / Heavy Engineering Company: Leading Steel Structures / PEB Manufacturing Company Department: Quality Job Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu Bavla, Gujarat Athivaram, Andhra Pradesh Experience: 28 Years Industry Preference: Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) Steel Structures Heavy Engineering Structural Steel Fabrication Salary: Best in Industry (Based on Experience & Current CTC) Job Responsibilities: Conduct stage-wise and final quality inspections of fabricated steel structures. Inspect fabrication, fit-up, welding, dimensional accuracy, and finished products. Review fabrication drawings, QAP, ITP, and quality documentation. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and inspection procedures. Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Dispatch teams to resolve quality issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation. Ensure adherence to ISO standards and company quality systems. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of fabrication drawings and structural steel inspection. Good understanding of welding inspection and quality control. Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques. Knowledge of NDT methods and quality documentation will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Candidate Profile: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 28 years of experience in Quality within PEB, Steel Structures, Structural Steel Fabrication, or Heavy Engineering. Candidates with exposure to fabrication shop quality and customer inspections will be preferred.
