Software Architect (Fullstack, Salesforce)

We're looking for a Hands-On Software Architect who leads by example-through architecture, coding, and technical excellence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the code while shaping the technical direction of a modern enterprise platform. What You'll Do Architect and build a scalable enterprise platform spanning Salesforce, Azure, web, and mobile applications . Own the design and implementation of complex integrations, distributed services, and business-critical components. Make key technology decisions, balancing build vs. buy considerations with a strong understanding of scalability, cost, maintainability, and long-term business value. Define engineering best practices across architecture, coding standards, CI/CD, testing, security, documentation, and code quality. Work alongside senior engineers through design discussions, pair programming, and code reviews, fostering a strong engineering culture. Remain deeply technical, spending the majority of your time designing, developing, and reviewing production code. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is actively coding today and intends to remain a hands-on engineer. Essential Skills & Experience 10+ years of software engineering experience with recent production development. Strong programming expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (Apex is a significant advantage). Proven experience building full-stack applications , including frontend, backend, APIs, and databases. Hands-on experience developing solutions on Azure (or comparable cloud platforms) using cloud-native services. Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, integrations, APIs, scalability, and reliability. Experience delivering products used by external customers. Strong engineering discipline around Git, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and secure software development. Preferred Experience Salesforce development including Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, and REST/Bulk APIs . Mobile application development using React Native or Flutter . AI-powered application development using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, Copilot, or Agentic AI . Experience within financial services, lending, insurance, or other regulated industries . Nice to Have Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) Containers and modern deployment practices Power BI or data visualization experience Exposure to insurance or premium finance platforms Technology Landscape Frontend: React, TypeScript, Responsive Web, React Native/Flutter Backend: Python, Node.js, REST APIs, Integration Services Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, SQL, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID) Salesforce: Apex, LWC, Experience Cloud, Platform Events, REST & Bulk APIs Data: Azure SQL, Salesforce, Power BI AI: Azure OpenAI, LLM integrations, Copilot/Agentic AI capabilities Engineering: Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Secure Coding, OWASP, Design Documentation
