About the role
As a strategic and experienced Principal Data Product Manager at the company, your role will involve leading a portfolio within the Population Health product family. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategy & Leadership: - Develop and own the data product strategy for your portfolio in close collaboration with product directors and leadership. - Product Lifecycle Management: - Manage the full product lifecycle, including road mapping, requirements gathering, feature prioritization, and measuring success through KPIs and metrics. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with architecture, delivery teams, and key stakeholders to empower product teams and enable effective go-to-market strategies. - User-Centric Development: - Conduct user research and persona identification to shape product direction and quantify customer value. - Team Management: - Lead and mentor Product Owners and their teams, while also addressing dependencies and risks effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - Expert knowledge in clinical workflows, care management, or healthcare finance. - Technical Skills such as experience with data analytics tools (SQL, GCP, Snowflake), building enterprise data warehouses, and leading technology transformation projects. - Education with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Preferred qualifications include: - Experience with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner), knowledge of HL7/FHIR, and 2+ years of people management experience. Desired traits in the ideal candidate include being a people-person, problem-solver, and strong communicator, with curiosity about the business and its customers. You should be an influential and relational leader who is humble, results-driven, and has a strong bias for action.
