Senior Quality Engineer- Cloud Applications and Test Automation

We are looking for a passionate Senior Quality Engineer to join our Revenue Optimization team and help drive quality across modern cloud-native platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, building automation solutions, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products at scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing. Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Drive test coverage improvements and identify automation opportunities. Test cloud-native applications, microservices, and containerized solutions. Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and partner with teams to resolve issues. Support release validation, regression testing, and quality initiatives across multiple teams. Mentor junior Quality Engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Testing. Strong experience in manual and automated testing of web, API, and backend applications. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber , or similar. Experience testing microservices-based architectures and distributed systems. Strong understanding of API testing using REST/JSON, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Experience with cloud platforms ( GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable ). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD environments. Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (required). Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
