Senior Quality Engineer- Cloud Applications and Test Automation (Bengaluru)

We are looking for a passionate Senior Quality Engineer to join our Revenue Optimization team and help drive quality across modern cloud-native platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, building automation solutions, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products at scale. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. - Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing. - Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. - Drive test coverage improvements and identify automation opportunities. - Test cloud-native applications, microservices, and containerized solutions. - Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and partner with teams to resolve issues. - Support release validation, regression testing, and quality initiatives across multiple teams. - Mentor junior Quality Engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements. Required Skills & Experience - 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Testing. - Strong experience in manual and automated testing of web, API, and backend applications. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, or similar. - Experience testing microservices-based architectures and distributed systems. - Solid understanding of API testing using REST/JSON, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. - Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable). - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments. - Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC. Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (required). - Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
