About the role
Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms. Ensure that all sites are optimized for performance and mobile devices. - Creating the website architecture. - Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration. - Generating WordPress themes and plugins. - Conducting website performance tests. - Troubleshooting content issues. - Conducting WordPress training with the client. - Monitoring the performance of the live website. - Build and manage e-commerce sites using WooCommerce and Shopify, including setting up product listings, payment gateways, and shipping configurations. - Proven experience in website development, specifically with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms. - Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility. - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. - Experience with website customization and integration of various plugins and third-party applications. - Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to implement them in website designs. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Skills: - Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery. - Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN. - Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug. - Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. - Ability to manage projects. - Expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. - Strong front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
