About the role
Company - Safari Manufacturing Ltd. Profile - Production Engineer (Expert on Injection molding machine) Role & responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the role include: Plan and coordinate production on daily basis to achieve production as per standard cycle time Develop process improvements to effectively utilize machines and material to maximize production Identify unsafe operations and practices and report same for immediate corrective action Perform engineering analysis to reduce down time Provide support to Maintenance activities to ensure maximum production Ensure proper housekeeping on shop floor Track daily shift wise production and analyse any deviance and report with accuracy within agreed timelines Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals Develop best practise to improve production capacity, quality and reliability Set Moulding process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements Perform mold set up and color changes to meet production demands as needed. Troubleshoot mold processes, machines, make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime Provide technical assistance to Moulding technicians and operators Train and develop Moulding personnel relative to the Moulding process (Process technicians and Moulding operators) Preferred candidate profile 1. Qualification - CIPET Plastic processing / BE Mechanical 2. Experience - 5 7 years relevant experience in Plastic industry / Injection molding production process 3. Experience in Plastic Processing 4. Knowledge about SAP is a MUST 5.
