Job Title - DRAFTSMAN / CAD ENGINEER Company: Safety Projects Pvt Ltd Department: Design & Engineering Reporting To: Design Engineer / Technical Director Location: Umbergaon Plant Position Summary Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman / CAD Engineer responsible for preparation of detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution activities. The role requires strong drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and effective revision control management. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings. Generate CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawings as per production requirements. Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and shop drawings. Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Maintain proper revision control and document management. Coordinate with the production department for manufacturing feasibility and drawing clarifications. Support Design and Engineering teams in BOM preparation. Modify and update drawings based on production feedback and project changes. Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules. Qualification ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship Experience 3–8 years of relevant experience in fabrication drafting, CAD engineering, or manufacturing drawing preparation. Software Skills AutoCAD (Mandatory) SolidWorks (Preferred) Skills Required Fabrication and shop drawing preparation CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawing knowledge Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes BOM support and documentation Revision control and drawing management Attention to detail and drafting accuracy Coordination and communication skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Drawing accuracy Timely release of drawings Effectiveness of revision control Reduction in drawing-related production errors Coordination efficiency with production teams Preferred Attributes Strong technical drafting skills Good understanding of fabrication processes Ability to work under tight timelines Team-oriented and proactive approach Detail-focused with strong organizational skills Skills: design,drawing,draughtsman,solidworks,cad,manufacturing,metal fabrication,autocad
