The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for design and development of major Sage Intacct features. The engineer will provide guidance to other engineers and drive the overall process of development and delivery. The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for architectural design issues, coding standards, and overall consistency and quality of the final solution. Software engineers will understand the implications of major design decisions, and will be responsible for highlighting important or difficult decisions, ensuring that the trade-offs are considered. They are expected to work on major features which often involve a deep understanding of the financial and accounting implications of the changes, including the impact on reports and usage. Key Responsibilities. Design and develop software applications using Java, PHP, and JavaScript. Collaborate with architects & engineers to integrate Snowflake Data Warehouse into the software architecture. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, investigate root causes, and propose solutions. Create clear and concise technical documentation, including diagrams. Take the lead of a team of engineers and provide technical guidance and oversight. Mentor junior team members. Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and decisions. Candidate Profile: 6+ years of experience in full stack software development. Proficiency in Java, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Github. Working knowledge of Linux bash commands. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and simplified manner. Proactivity to take ownership of work, track and report on progress. Comfortable starting with vague requirements, taking lead and driving work to completion. Show more Show less
