About the role
SAI CPA Services is looking for a proactive Network Engineer / Computer Hardware & IT Support Engineer to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring network security, monitoring IT systems, managing backups, and providing technical support to employees. Key Responsibilities 1. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware. 2. Maintain and administer the office network, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and VPN access. 3. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, email, and network-related issues in a timely manner. 4. Monitor the health and performance of computers, servers, and network devices to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. 5. Install, configure, and regularly update antivirus, endpoint protection, and system security software. 6. Ensure timely installation of Windows updates, security patches, and software upgrades across all systems. 7. Perform regular data backups and assist in disaster recovery whenever required. 8. Create and manage user accounts, passwords, email accounts, and access permissions. 9. Protect company systems and data by implementing basic network security measures, monitoring unauthorized access, and following cybersecurity best practices. 10. Monitor storage utilization, backup status, internet performance, and system alerts using available monitoring tools. 11. Coordinate with software vendors and internet service providers to resolve technical issues when required. 12. Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, warranties, and related documentation. 13. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of business applications and office productivity software. 14.
