About the role
Mechanical maintenance activities in manufacturing plant. Maintenance hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Trouble shooting/Maintenance of Material Conveyors / Bucket elevators / Screw feeders/ Gearboxes, Pumps /Compressors/ blowers etc. Shaft/ coupling alignment of rotary equipment. Conveyor belt jointing process- Hot and Cold Breakdown analysis and CAPA Develop Corrective and Preventive actions of repeated equipment failures Responsible for the various mechanical department related contracting (out-sourced) jobs. Responsible for Mechanical Department related WCM (World Class Manufacturing) projects, Kaizen Knowledge on LOCK OUT – TAGOUT & ensuring 100% compliance on the same. To execute projects identified for increasing productivity & reliability of equipment's. To execute projects for cost reduction & EHS improvements. Modification works for improving reliability of equipment and Spare part management.
