This position will be responsible for leading all activities related to the post glass operations, m aintaining safety culture in Tempered and Laminated CPA lines by targeting Zero accidents and incidents, determining the hazards, risks and thereby reducing them, identify and report SIP’s, maintain stellar track record of zero accidents and incidents by team involvement and participation. Line output levels, yield and OEE of the equipment’s by managing/ control 4M. ZERO defect culture at core. Ensure all mistake/ fool-proofing are operational. Designing and implementing new Poka-yokes across the post glass. Maintain strong customer acumen by involvement in supply and quality related issues if any. Manufacturing cost reduction by WCM projects. Co-chair IE/ QPC pillar leader position, thereby implanting efficiency and productivity improvement projects. Responsible for ORM, RM and Consumable cost reduction and consumption in Actual and stock Maintaining zero stock variances across SFG, FG and WIP related to post glass Lean concept implementation in material handling. Analyze and eliminate NVA’s in the proces Must have strong commitment towards safety. Have knowledge HIRA, TFx, EvE & SIPs Perform line parameter verification and conduct process audits for line operations, processes to ensure consistency and compliance. Carry out/ verify product testing as per the standards, verify/ validate the FOA, Setup validations, CILT, Q&S, Poka-Yoke & other check sheets Monitor & control QFx PPM targets, minimize rejections Kaizen, C/M effectiveness & continuous improvement. Instruments control & calibration, MSA audits, inspection booths & acceptance criteria. Investigate line/ production issues, implement CAPA & collaborate with support functions to enhance process efficiency, product quality, loss minimization. Actively participate & lead new projects to ensure timely development of product/ process. Conduct inspection and validation of prototype and new products during the development stage. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education : BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Industrial Engineering. Experience: Minimum 07~10 years in Production/ Assembly/ Operations especially in automotive industry Strong understanding of Manufacturing & quality control standards. Experience in Production planning & control, problem solving, analytical skills. Proficiency in MS office. Knowledge of glass manufacturing standards is an added advantage.
