Tech Lead / Software Development Engineer

As a Tech Lead / Software Development Engineer, your role involves being primarily responsible for Airborne Software design and development in an Embedded Linux environment. You should have hands-on experience with software development and possess strong skills in Object Oriented Design and Implementation. Your programming and debugging skills should be proficient in OOPS languages such as GoLang, Java, C++, or Python. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of IP networking protocols and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop Airborne Software in an Embedded Linux environment - Implement Object Oriented Design principles effectively - Utilize programming and debugging skills in languages like GoLang, Java, C++, or Python - Demonstrate knowledge of IP networking protocols and technologies - Implement Continuous Integration and Test Automation methodologies - Experience with Virtualization and containerization technologies like VirtualBox, Docker, KVM is a plus - Familiarity with Microservice architecture and event-driven system design is beneficial - Understanding of Service Measurements and Software System Performance is advantageous - Proficiency in modern build environments like Jenkins and Spinnaker is preferred - Exposure to Inflight Entertainment connectivity through Satellites Qualifications: - Masters or bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related technology (advanced degree preferred) - Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications and/or networking industry is preferred Please note that this job is based in Chennai with a requirement of 5 days of work from the office.
