As an Infrastructure Technical Architect at Salesforce Professional Services, you will play a key role in enabling customers to leverage MuleSoft platforms while coaching and mentoring team members. Your expertise and experience will position you as a thought leader in technical innovation. Here's what you need to succeed in this role: - Experience with container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes - Proficiency in configuring IaaS services on major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP - Strong infrastructure automation skills including familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager - Working knowledge of networking, Linux, systems programming, distributed systems, databases, and cloud computing - Production-level experience in at least one high-level command-line interface-written code language (Java, C++, etc) and at least one dynamic language (Ruby, Python, etc.) Preferred qualifications include: - At least one Cloud Architect / Solution Architect Certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) - Certified Kubernetes Architect (e.g., CKA, CKAD) - MuleSoft Platform Architect certification - Experience with Anypoint Runtime fabric deployment - DevSecOps training or certifications in Infra as Code and Platform as Code - Working knowledge of Gravity/Gravitational (Teleport), Redhat OpenShift platform, and operators - Expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure - Experience with Highly-Availability, Scalability, Performance Testing & Tuning - Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Working knowledge of Internet technologies and protocols - Familiarity with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB), NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), distributed key-value store, and Time-series DB Your role will involve customer-facing communication, expectation management, and contributing to the innovation and success of complex business solutions.
