Lead Member of Technical Staff

As an experienced engineer for the AppExchange team at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the new Salesforce Ecosystem. You will collaborate with multiple teams within our platform to design, develop, and deliver solutions that will contribute to building the next ecosystem for Salesforces ISVs (partners). The system you build will be integral in distributing diverse applications by partners worldwide to all existing and future Salesforce customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deliver solutions for the new ISV Platform within Salesforce technologies - Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions - Build a system that enables partners to distribute applications globally to Salesforce customers - Contribute to building the next generation ecosystem marketplace on AppExchange - Develop solutions across various technologies like Einstein, Mulesoft, Tableau, and Slack - Implement full transactability within the AppExchange (DiscoverPurchaseProvision) - Power search, analytics, and recommendations through AppExchange Intelligence - Ensure listings, reviews, and installs are available on Salesforce platform, AppExchange, and AgentExchange sites Qualifications Required: - Excellent object-oriented design skills with experience in design patterns - Proficiency in modern web technologies and web application development - Familiarity with technologies such as React, Angular, Next.js, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Java, Node.js, Express, NestJS, etc. - Experience in building scalable APIs and microservices in an enterprise software environment - Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. postgres) and data model design - Proficiency in unit test frameworks Additional Details: - The preferred qualifications include a strong desire to learn technology, commitment to quality, stability, and performance. - Experience with automated E2E testing frameworks and ownership of the software development lifecycle. - Proficiency in CI/CD approaches, supporting and troubleshooting software in production. - Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and understanding of maintaining a balance between speed of delivery and maintainability. - Proficient in written and spoken English. - Experience in building on top of the Salesforce Platform, with expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components. - Conversant with Salesforce Platform features and best practices.
