About the role
As an experienced engineer for the AppExchange team at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the new Salesforce Ecosystem. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with multiple teams within the platform to design, develop, and deliver solutions that contribute to building the next ecosystem for Salesforce's ISVs (partners). The solutions you develop will be utilized globally by partners to distribute diverse applications to Salesforce customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deliver solutions in collaboration with multiple teams within the platform - Contribute to building the next ecosystem for Salesforce's ISVs by creating solutions that can be distributed globally - Work on extending the base and boundaries of the ecosystem marketplace while infusing intelligence into every step of the customer journey - Develop solutions that can be packaged, published, and listed across multiple technologies like Einstein, Mulesoft, Tableau, and Slack - Implement AppExchange Intelligence to power search, analytics, and recommendations - Ensure listings, reviews, and installs are available on Salesforce platform, AppExchange, and AgentExchange sites Qualifications Required: - Excellent object-oriented design skills with experience in applying design patterns - Proficiency in modern web technologies and web application development - Familiarity with technologies such as React, Angular, Next.js, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Java, Node.js, Express, NestJS, etc. - Experience in developing scalable APIs and microservices in an enterprise software environment - Proficiency with relational databases like postgres and designing data models - Experience with unit test frameworks Preferred Qualifications: - Strong willingness to learn new technologies with a polyglot attitude - Commitment to quality, stability, and performance - Experience with automated end-to-end testing frameworks - Ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, including service ownership - Familiarity with CI/CD approaches and troubleshooting software in production - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player - Ability to balance speed of delivery with maintainability - Proficient in written and spoken English - Experience in building on top of the Salesforce Platform, particularly in Apex and Lightning Web Components - Conversant with Salesforce Platform features and best practices - Experience in developing and maintaining packaged solutions Join us in building the future of the Salesforce Ecosystem and be a part of our success story at AppExchange!
