Senior Manager, Engineering - Tableau

Senior Engineering Managers will drive execution for their product set with AI, automation and rich experiences. Responsibilities Drive the execution and delivery of features and changes by collaborating with many multi-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineers. Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product. Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving it before it happens. Daily management of stand-ups as the Scrum Master for engineering teams. Partner with PO to align with objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risks. Ensure teams have clear priorities and adequate resources. Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members. Participate in architecture discussions, multi-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams. Proactively identify reliability & data quality problems and drive triaging and remediation processes. Recruit, Build and lead a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable and secure monitoring and analytic services for various business needs. Invest in continuous employee development by mentoring and coaching engineers and technical leads. Maintain high morale and motivate the delivery team to go above and beyond. Be a multiplier and have a passion for team and team members success. Qualifications Experience B.S/M.S. in Computer Sciences or equivalent field, with 15+ years of relevant experience in software development. 8+ years of experience managing teams and leading software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in developing enterprise-level SaaS products and deploying services on public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Experience leading large scale distributed systems, working with microservices, container orchestration and/or distributed architecture. Expertise in data processing, data transformation and analytical technologies. Proficiency in at least two of the following: C++, Java, Python, C#. Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases Experience in Agile methodologies and software engineering best practices including coding standards, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations.
