Application Developer - .Net Technologies

As a Technical Application Systems Developer in our company, you will have the following responsibilities: - Technical responsibility for big or complex application systems in a respective domain - Adhere to security, control, and change control processes - Design, develop, and maintain functions using .NET to meet technical and functional requirements - Interact with different IT teams within the company to ensure system stability and compliance with IT architecture - Collaborate with IT support teams to implement new functions and maintain application maintainability - Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate technical specifications - Perform code versioning - Be responsible for an important part of the full System Development Life Cycle - Participate in production support duty rotation, including weekend and off-hour support coverage - Engage in technical reviews at appropriate development stages Technical Skills Required: - Development experience with .NET 4.8 as a minimum, preferred experience with .NET Core - Proficiency in C# programming - Hands-on experience with SQL Databases - Ability to write jobs using JCL (Job Control Language) - Quick troubleshooting and incident resolution skills - Perform application support tasks such as systems support, security reviews, and maintenance - Testing experience - Ability to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies Nice to have: - Background in the finance industry, preferred for insurance companies - Proficiency in German language Minimum Educational Qualification: - A degree in Computer Science or equivalent related discipline or equivalent work experience.
