Java and React - J50649 Role & responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Java + React Developer with 57.5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java-based backend development and modern React-based frontend development, with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications. Build robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Develop responsive, reusable, and interactive user interfaces using React.js. Design and consume RESTful APIs. Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Contribute to system architecture, design discussions, and technical documentation. Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Required Skills 5–7.5 years of software development experience. Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17). Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with Redux, React Hooks, and component-based architecture. Expertise in developing and consuming REST APIs. Good understanding of Microservices architecture. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Good understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with SonarQube, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Knowledge of performance tuning and application monitoring. Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
