About the role
SQL Developer + DBA - J50403 Role & responsibilities Our client is looking for candidates for SQL Developer + DBA role. Desired candidate should have; Experience: 6 -10 years Role Overview Were looking for an experienced SQL Developer + DBA to design, optimize, and maintain complex database solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Database Development and DBA - Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions - Design and implement database schemas, indexes, and data models - Should have Exp in Oracle, Postgres - Manage database infrastructure (provisioning, patching, backups, security) - Ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery strategies 2. Performance Tuning and Optimization - Analyze and optimize query performance (execution plans, indexing strategies) - Troubleshoot database issues (locks, deadlocks, resource bottlenecks) - Monitor and optimize database health (CPU, memory, storage) 3. Data Integration and ETL - Build ETL pipelines (SSIS, Informatica, or similar tools) - Work with data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, files, databases) 4. Communication and Mentorship - Positive at communication, ability to lead the team and groom the Juniors to bring up them up the curve - Banking domain experience preferred. Qualification : Any Graduate. Candidate should be willing to work with the START UP company. Job location : Andheri (East) , Mumbai .
