About the role
Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer Responsibilities: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. Respond to network alerts and incidents. Perform configuration and maintenance of network devices. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex network problems. Document network configurations and procedures. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a NOC, help desk, or technical support setting within an enterprise data network/IT industry. Good knowledge of Spanning-tree protocols, QOS, VPN, NAT, VoIP, IPSec, Multicast, DNS services, MPLS networks, network protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, VLAN Trunking), and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Valuable knowledge on Cisco/Aruba/Meraki switches/routing networking. Proficiency in Routing & Switching concepts including BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, LACP, TCP/IP.
