About the role
Key Responsibilities Design, simulate, and analyse space payloads, including Ka-band, S-band, and X-band transponders, ensuring optimal performance in Satcom missions. Perform link budget calculations, payload systems engineering, and end-to-end system modelling using tools like MATLAB or STK. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on satellite subsystem integration, testing, and risk mitigation throughout the development lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, or related field. 1-4 years of hands-on experience in satellite communications, RF systems, or payload engineering. Proficiency in frequency band analysis (Ka, S, X-band), simulation software, and link budget tools. Preferred Skills Familiarity with transponder design, orbital analysis, and space mission standards like ECSS. Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar for RF modelling and data analysis. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams at SAMTEL Avionics space vertical.
