Role Overview: Sandisk is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Visualization Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Additionally, you will play a key role in data modeling, ETL processes, SQL query optimization, and ensuring security and governance in BI tools. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Tableau (Desktop/Server) and Power BI (Desktop/Service). - Connect to diverse data sources, transform data using Power Query, and create optimized data models (star schemas, relationships). - Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and optimize backend queries for performance. - Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications. - Maintain, troubleshoot, and document existing reports, data pipelines, and dashboard logic. - Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI and manage permissions/security in Tableau Server. Qualifications: - Experience: 3 - 5 years in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role. - BI Tools: Strong, hands-on experience with both Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and Tableau (Calculated fields, LOD expressions). - Database: Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, views, stored procedures). - Data Analysis: Strong analytical thinking, data warehousing knowledge, and data validation skills. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with non-technical users.
