Design Engineer Major Bridge Projects

Responsible for bridge design activities from tender stage to execution stage including calculations, drawings, coordination and quality assurance. Responsibilities Tender Stage Design Study tender documents and scope of work. Prepare design parameters, assumptions and input requirements. Coordinate for survey, investigation and data collection. Prepare preliminary GA drawings and value engineering proposals. Execution Stage Design Prepare detailed GA drawings, reinforcement drawings and GFC drawings. Perform structural calculations and prepare design reports. Prepare BOQ and quantity summaries. Review outsourced drawings and calculations. Quality Coordination Ensure designs comply with contract and code requirements. Participate in technical discussions with client and site team. Minimize revisions and rework.
