Java Backend Developer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java technologies. Additionally, you will develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services, collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and implementation, interact with clients to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, and ensure code quality, scalability, and security standards are maintained. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong knowledge of Java and backend development concepts - Experience working with Spring Boot and REST APIs - Good understanding of SQL and database concepts - Strong communication and client-handling skills - Experience with Git/version control systems Preferred qualifications for this position include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field - 3+ years of experience in Java backend development - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP is an added advantage - Knowledge of security frameworks and authentication mechanisms If you have knowledge or experience in Inward and Outward Remittance products, exposure to Microservices architecture, or an understanding of Agile development methodology, it will be considered a plus. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities will be valuable in this role.
