As a Java Developer at SAP Procurement Product Team, your role is to work with the leading Infrastructure Platform-as-a-Service SAP BTP. You must possess solid technical and communication skills, demonstrating independence in decision-making. You will be responsible for performing development tasks independently, ensuring completion with good quality, timely delivery, and efficiency. Collaboration with teams across organizational boundaries to design and develop software applications is crucial, working closely with Architects and Senior Developers. Your responsibilities also include applying clean code principles, conducting code reviews, unit testing, and performance measurements. Key Responsibilities: - Possess expert proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Web Technologies, and handling data structures and SQL scripts - Proficiency in one or more UI technologies such as AngularJS, SAPUI5, SAP Fiori Elements, Node.js, CSS, and jQuery - Understanding of Microservices, event-driven architecture, CQRS architecture, and knowledge of RESTful APIs - Experience with SAP oData V2, V4, Component and E2E testing, and automated testing tools - Ability to author software design, technical documentation, and automation tests - Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, customer-facing experience, and understanding of test-driven development - Knowledge of Domain Driven Design principles Qualifications Required: - Strong educational qualification with 1-4 years of experience in software development - Familiarity with agile development methodology, CI/CD concepts, processes, tools, and methodologies SAP is a market leader in end-to-end business application software and related services, with a focus on database analytics, intelligent technologies, and experience management.
