Front End Developer

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Developer at SAP, you will be part of a core co-located DevOps team focusing on building the foundation for tomorrow. You will work closely with the Product Team to ensure the Platform aligns with the Product Vision. Your role will involve designing and developing full stack product features based on customer and business requirements, taking responsibility for one or more software components throughout their lifecycle, from development to production deployment and monitoring. Your ability to optimize and deliver a performant product will be crucial in meeting the needs of customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Work with the Product Team to ensure the Platform aligns with the Product Vision - Collaborate in a cross-functional product team with daily sync sessions and end-to-end product responsibility - Design and develop full stack product features based on customer and business requirements - Take responsibility for one or more software components throughout their lifecycle - Participate in code reviews, software architecture design sessions, and maintain, improve, and refactor product and test code base - Evaluate, prototype, and implement technical solutions for modern real-world business problems - Dig deep into the code to deliver a highly optimized and performant product to customers worldwide Qualifications Required: - 4 to 7 years of experience working in cross-functional teams relying on agile methodologies - Bachelor's, Master's degree, or equivalent in Computer Science or related field - Passion for fast iterations, test-driven development, pair programming, and pragmatic development approaches - Strong knowledge of OOP and software design principles - In-depth knowledge of Java programming - Proficiency in modern web technologies including Angular, React, TypeScript, and Node.js - Hands-on experience with SQL databases - Proficient in safely and efficiently refactoring larger codebases - DevOps mindset - You Build it, You Run It - Good to have knowledge of Java 8 or higher, AngularJS 1.5, NestJS, and state management libraries like NgRx - Understanding of microservice-based cloud architectures comprising Spring and Spring Boot Additional Details: SAP is a purpose-driven and future-focused company with a highly collaborative team ethic and a commitment to personal development.
