Senior Database Administrator - SAP HANA and ASE

Role Overview: You will be joining the SAP ECS Enhanced Operations Service (EOS) organization as an Enhanced Operations Service Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and optimizing strategic customers' investments in SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. Your responsibilities will include database administration in HANA database, critical situation handling, and ensuring quality service delivery while meeting service KPI and SLA targets. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively handle major incidents, troubleshoot service request failures, and resolve ongoing incidents within stipulated SLA/KPI thresholds. - Analyze root causes of failures and performance issues, and define corrective action plans. - Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective incident resolution and system stability. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and system operations. - Streamline standard operating procedures through automation enhancements and proactive operational services for customers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technologies Management. - 10+ years of professional experience in database administration, particularly in SAP HANA and ASE. - Strong technical expertise in database technologies like HANA, ASE, MSSQL, with expert-level knowledge in HANA. - Experience in problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous learning of new technologies. - Good analytical, communication, and networking skills with a customer service focus.
