As a Software Developer at our company, your role will involve analyzing, designing, developing, coding, and implementing programs for Web and Rich Internet Applications in one or more programming languages. You will support applications by understanding system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will assess the health and performance of software applications and databases. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with business units, customers, and subject matter experts to stay informed about direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues. You will define specifications, develop programs, modify existing programs, prepare test data, and functional specifications. Furthermore, you will analyze program and application performance using various programming languages, tools, and techniques. You will provide guidance to non-technical staff on using software and hardware systems effectively and efficiently. You will also review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates, and make recommendations. In addition, you will design and define specifications for systems and identify potential process improvement areas, suggesting options and recommending approaches.
