sdfsdf Back to Current Openings Apply Now Senior System Engineer -Vehicle Features (Body Control Systems) - ZR_2956_JOB Operations | Hyderabad, India Job Title: Senior System Engineer -Vehicle Features (Body Control Systems) Experience: 8 - 10 Years Qualification: B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech (Automotive & Mechanical) No. of Positions: 1 Job Location: Hyderabad Job Description: The Client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of Body Control features across advanced vehicle programs. This role provides technical leadership across access, security, closures, lighting, and comfort systems, ensuring robust requirements, system architecture, integration, and validation. You will act as the technical authority for assigned features, driving engineering best practice, supplier management, and delivery from concept through to production. Key Responsibilities: Lead definition, decomposition, and management of Body Control requirements, ensuring full traceability across system, software, and hardware Own system architecture development, feature design, and key technical decisions Develop feature specifications, functional/system requirements, use cases, and interface definitions (ICDs) Provide technical leadership across key feature areas including: Access & Security: keyless entry, PEPS, digital key, immobilizers, alarm systems Closures Systems: powered doors, tailgates, windows, roof systems, safety features Lighting Systems: interior, exterior, ambient, and signature lighting Comfort & Convenience: seats, mirrors, personalization and user profiles Body Electronics: BCMs, sensors, actuators, and vehicle status systems Define and manage system interfaces across body, infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle networks Lead integration, verification, and validation activities including DVP planning and issue resolution Support program gateway reviews, technical risk management, and engineering sign-off Act as technical interface for suppliers, reviewing designs and resolving escalations Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, integration, cybersecurity, and OEM stakeholders Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
