About the role
As a Software Engineer at Sauce Labs, you will play a crucial role in the Mobile Device Infrastructure team, contributing to the development and maintenance of mobile agents, backend services, and frontend tools. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on the integration of mobile apps and frameworks, interfacing with mobile OS APIs and protocols, executing technical tasks to adapt mobile device behavior, and participating in the full development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development and maintenance of mobile agents, backend services, and frontend tools - Collaborate on the integration of mobile apps and frameworks into core infrastructure - Interface with mobile OS APIs and protocols to manage real device connectivity - Execute technical tasks to adapt mobile device behavior for lease-based environments - Participate in the full development lifecycle, from code implementation to automated testing Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Java or Kotlin (Golang experience is a plus) - Strong debugging skills and a logical approach to problem-solving - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments - Foundational knowledge of mobile app development (Android or iOS) - Effective communication and the ability to work in a collaborative team setting Additional Details: - This position requires in-office presence 5 days a week.
