About the role
Job Description: QA Tester (1 Year of Experience) Location: Ahmedabad Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: - Execute manual test cases to ensure software functionality and performance. - Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data. - Identify, record, document, and track bugs or defects in the system. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues. - Assist in creating automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent. - Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved or features are updated. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices. - Participate in test planning and design discussions. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 1 year of experience in software testing (manual testing is a must). - Basic knowledge of automation testing tools and scripting. - Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to document test results clearly and accurately. - Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent. - Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Valuable communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
