Trainee Engineer - Instrumentation

Role Overview: As a Trainee Engineer - Instrumentation, you will be a part of the Instrumentation Design team in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemical, Power, and EPC industry. Your main responsibility will be to assist in instrumentation design, drafting, and preparation of engineering documents under the guidance of senior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and hook-up drawings. - Support the review of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to ensure instrumentation requirements are properly captured. - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Instrument Index, I/O Lists, and Cable Schedules. - Support the specification and selection of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters. - Assist in preparing instrument datasheets and technical documentation. - Coordinate with piping, electrical, and process engineering teams to ensure alignment with project requirements. - Maintain proper documentation, drawing updates, and revision control as per project standards. Qualification Required: - Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (E&I). Additional Details: - Industry: Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemical, and Power. - Location: Hyderabad. - Experience: 0 - 3 years. Skills Required: - Basic knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems. - Understanding of P&ID diagrams and instrumentation drawings. - Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems. - Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Basic knowledge of MS Office. Preferred: - Internship or academic project related to instrumentation or control systems. - Basic knowledge of field instruments and calibration is a plus.
