About the role
Job Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant Experience: 3 to 10 Years Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP development and support projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and object-oriented programming with exposure to S/4HANA developments. Key Responsibilities Develop and support SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW). Design and develop Classical, Interactive, and ALV Reports. Develop and enhance SAP Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms. Work on Data Dictionary objects such as Tables, Views, Structures, Search Helps, and Lock Objects. Develop Interfaces using BDC, BAPI, IDOC, RFC, File Interfaces, and Web Services. Develop Enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements. Develop CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services in S/4HANA environments. Work on Object-Oriented ABAP and performance tuning techniques. Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support activities. Collaborate with Functional Consultants to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Prepare technical specifications and related documentation. Required Skills Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming. Experience in Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Conversions (RICEFW). Hands-on experience with BAPI, BDC, IDOC, RFC, and ALE. Experience in Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts. Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP and performance optimization techniques. Experience in SAP S/4HANA developments, CDS Views, and OData Services. Good understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, FI, and WM. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and client interaction skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAPUI5. Knowledge of SAP Workflow and Web Services. Experience in implementation, rollout, support, and upgrade projects. SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA is an added advantage.
