Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable product features are delivered. - Drive design and architecture discussions, making key technical decisions for complex modules. - Mentor, guide, and review code from team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning. - Take ownership of end-to-end delivery from requirement analysis to deployment and support. - Ensure code quality, performance, and security through reviews, automation, and testing strategies. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and QA to align technical solutions with business goals. - Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges. - Champion the adoption of modern tools, technologies, and DevOps practices for productivity and quality improvements. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring in relevant innovations to the product. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 68 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java and related technologies. - Proven track record of leading technical teams in product development environments. - Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles. - Hands-on experience with Java, Spring (Core, MVC, Boot), Hibernate/JPA, REST API development. - Experience in JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React.js, TypeScript, jQuery) along with HTML5/CSS. - Good exposure to cloud platforms (AWS S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda, etc.). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Database experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL (query optimization, performance tuning). - Familiarity with Python, Node.js for backend microservices is a plus. - Strong focus on software quality, scalability, performance, testability, and security. - Experience in Agile/Scrum-based product development. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to drive solutions end-to-end. - Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams and stakeholders.
