About the role
We are on a mission to unlock digital value for every customer, faster, smarter, and with greater impact than ever before. To accelerate this ambition and strengthen our ability to scale digital services with consistency, quality, and speed, we are extending the Digital & Technical Chapter with a critical leadership role at the intersection of architecture, deployment, and adoption. This role ensures that our digital architectures are not only technically sound, but also deployable, adopted, and scalable globally, supported by a strong Architecture Library as a single source of truth. Why this role exists As Schneider Electric scales digital services and connectivity across segments and geographies, the key challenge is no longer just defining architecture, but ensuring it is: Standardised Consumable Adopted consistently in the field This role brings together three critical capabilities into a single accountable leader: Connectivity architecture & operationalisation Adoption & field enablement Architecture library ownership & evangelisation The objective is to close the gap between design and execution, ensuring what we define becomes what is deployed, and what is deployed continuously improves the model Strategic Mission & How We Deliver Value We work hand-in-hand with One Service organisation, LoBs, and Digital Energy teams to ensure our customers benefit from simple, reliable, and scalable connectivity and digital architectures. Our mission is to: Define clear, standardised architecture patterns and connection frameworks Act as an SME and support offer creation and technology conversation Drive global adoption across IoT and DSA communities, Technical Sales, and Service Operations, working cross-functionally with commercial, delivery, product, platform, and field stakeholders to ensure end-to-end alignment from architecture design to deployment and operation. Provide field-ready playbooks, tools, and guidance Continuously improve through structured feedback loops from real deployments Act as product owner and evangelist of the Architecture Library, ensuring it becomes the trusted reference for all scenario architectures, onboarding flows, commissioning standards, and reusable digital assets. Key Responsibilities Connectivity Architecture & Operationalisation Define and drive standard connection patterns across offers and segments Support end-to-end interoperability and testing frameworks Define troubleshooting patterns and field-ready guidelines Maintain connection lifecycle standards in the Architecture Library Support pilots and early deployment of new connectivity technologies Adoption & Field Enablement Drive global adoption of approved architectures, specifications, and commissioning practices Plan and deliver enablement programs Ensure consistent execution across Sales, Technical Sales, and Service Operations Provide hands-on support for early deployments and pilots Act as a technical escalation point for connectivity and digital value topics Architecture Library Ownership & Evangelisation Own the Architecture Library as a product, ensuring it is Simple, Usable, and Scalable Drive usability and adoption of the library Lead evangelisation and engagement of IoT and DSA community Maintain a network of champions across LoBs, Serviceability, and regions Quality, Lifecycle & Platform Alignment Perform regular audits of architecture assets Ensure alignment with Digital Energy Software, platform constraints, and governance rules Manage versioning, lifecycle, and release notes Ensure all architectures are scalable Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Strong expertise in connectivity architectures, OT/IT integration, and interoperability frameworks Experience in industrial IoT, commissioning, and field deployment environments Proven ability to drive adoption and enablement at scale Experience managing knowledge platforms or architecture libraries Strong understanding of data models, APIs, and digital integration patterns Ability to translate complex architecture into simple, actionable guidance Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and business audiences Experience working across global, cross-functional organisations Key Success Area SME Impact & Offer Enablement Strong contribution to offer quality, scalability, and technical robustness Effective support to solution design and early deployment success Library Impact Architecture Library becomes the default entry point and trusted reference High engagement, usability, and field satisfaction Standardisation & Continuous Improvement Reduction in deployment variability and rework Strong, structured feedback loop driving continuous improvement Measurable improvement in architecture usability and deployment efficiency
