Senior Software Engineer - C++ Developer

Role Overview: Scientific Games, the global leader in lottery games, sports betting, and technology, is looking for a skilled professional to join their team. As a member of the Scientific Games team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the functionality of their next-generation Lottery platform. You will play a key role in technical end-to-end project delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous innovation and enhancement of the company's products and services. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain functionality for the next-generation Lottery platform - Manage and contribute to technical end-to-end delivery of projects - Maintain strong relationships with external and internal customers - Develop technical specifications, participate in design/code reviews, create test cases, and perform Test Driven Development (TDD) - Ensure engineering best practice principles are always applied - Design solutions aligned with the company's strategic direction - Build reusable, high-quality code and libraries for future use across multiple projects - Collaborate with team members, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features - Take ownership to build scalable, reliable, and performant code complying with internal code guidelines - Influence the engineering lifecycle by implementing best practices and patterns Qualifications Required: - Good understanding of C++ - Knowledge of any flavor of Linux - Client/server or any web server development experience is an added advantage - Linux internals knowledge - Understanding or work experience with Javascript (React/Angular) would be advantageous - Knowledge of any relational database Additional Company Details: Scientific Games, LLC and its affiliates are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
