About the role
Hiring skilled and proactive Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and applications. You'll collaborate closely with development and operations teams to build automation, improve system resilience, and drive operational excellence. Salary : INR 9,00,000 - 15,00,000 / year (based on experience) Responsibilities Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications using programming languages like Go, Python, or Java. Implement observability tools and methodologies (logging, metrics, tracing) to support highly available web services. Design and deliver cloud-native infrastructure solutions on Public Cloud or private cloud environments. Design and manage large-scale, complex cloud-based infrastructure and hosted applications. Participate in incident response and management as part of on-call rotation. Drive 360 reliability posture to enhance reliability, quality, and performance of services and microservices. Measure and optimize system performance while anticipating customer needs and innovating continuously. Apply reliability and resilience frameworks for stronger system design. Proactively identify problems, improvement areas, and performance bottlenecks. Eligibility Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, with 1 to 5 years of relevant industry experience. Extensive coding experience in any one programming language, like Python/Java/Go. Ability to work with complex business flows and deal with huge amounts of data. Strong knowledge of OS and N/w topologies. Full-stack troubleshooting skills across network, application, management fabric, and distributed services layers. Drive efficiencies through software improvement and root cause analysis, resulting in service delivery, maturity, and scalability. Familiarity with hybrid, public, and private cloud deployments and environments Experience with cloud-agnostic configuration management frameworks for constructs like laaC, Config Managements, Deployments, etc (*Note: This is a requirement for one of Scout's clients) Skills: java,go,python
